Jay Z Announces 4:44 Album Tour Dates; Nicki Minaj Raising Eye Brows With Baby Emoji; Kesha Addresses Suicidal Thoughts And New Single Praying
JAY-Z will be taking his headlining new album 4:44 on the road this fall. He released his tour dates and will be coming to Chicago, Lincoln, and Nashville.
Yesterday Nicki Minaj tweeted a baby emoji — and nothing else. She didn’t elaborate further, but her followers jumped on the vague tweet immediately.“BABY ON THE WAY ?????” one fan responded. She did, however, like several of the tweets asking if she’s pregnant, but didn’t respond to anyone. Minaj was most recently linked romantically to rapper Nas; in May, she told Ellen DeGeneres that they’ve had “sleepovers.”

After releasing “Praying” last Thursday, a single from her first album in four years, Kesha spoke with Sirius XM about what inspired the song and more specifically the music video’s opening monologue that alludes to her having suicidal thoughts. Her track starts saying “Being alive just hurts too much.” The Sirius XM interviewer asked Kesha if she had ever contemplated suicide. “If I were being totally honest, I had moments, because I didn’t know where I was going or what I was going to do,” she said. Kesha said she found purpose in creating her latest album, and that showing up at the studio each day is what kept her going when she was fighting depression. It kept her “Praying.”
