I disagree with saying it gives women a false sense of confidence and that it make us more aware of our vulnerability…personally, I don’t think a woman ever lets down her guard. We live with this reality every day. If a man is determined to violate a woman, at least he will suffer consequences for his actions and this device might assist in more arrests in the future. It is not a long term fix for this problem, but it at least gives women some sense of justice.
