What Are Your Favorite TV Shows?

Is there a new TV show that you just can not miss? What is it?

Ok, my jinx is that if I fall in love with a new TV show…it will be cancelled! Easily over 74% of the new(er) tv shows that I love end up getting the axe from the networks.  I loved Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip..GONE! I really liked Life on Mars…ADIOS! NBC’s Life is a great show..it too will prob not be back DOH!  Another great show that my wife and I both watched religiously was Journeyman…also on NBC (hmmm there’s a theme here huh?).

Now there have been many other shows that I dig that are still on the air..Big Brother, Survivor, The First 48, Damages and Nip/Tuck are must watches!  A couple others were amazing and I was sad to see the series end like Sopranos and The Shield.

My question is a 2 parter…what show(s) did you absolutely love and it got whacked?  and what new TV shows are on your “Must Watch” list every week?

    my fav shows are of course american idol secret teen(yes i’m an adult that is married but this show is great to watch with the little sisters) law and order svu tori and dean home sweet hollywood and the hills and pbr on versus for those who don’t know what the pbr is it’s professional bull riding jb mauney is awesome and really sexy

    One of my all time favorites is Saved by the Bell, but since I have to grow up at some point, and I can’t marry Zack Morris, I will settle for the new show, “Dating in the Dark”, it was awesome this week. My all-time favorite re-run show (besides saved by the bell) is Friends.

    1 of my mustsee shows got booted. It was Eli Stone. My other mustsee show is The Srecret Life of an American Teenager. It’s the best show EVER!!!!

    Not sure about any of the new shows, but my favorite can’t miss shows are:

    NCIS-(CBS, USA, Sleuth, & ION)

    Medium-(NBC, in the fall it will be on CBS)

    Nip/Tuck-(FX)
    Monk-(USA-last season)
    Psych-(USA)

    The rest are just reality show, which there are too many of and weird comedies. All my other favorites are gone, but hey reruns are fun!

    This fall I am looking forward to the new show (NCIS: Los Angeles)!

    I don’t know about the shows that got cancelled… I guess I can’t remember some that I liked, so they weren’t that memorable, but as far as the ones I can NOT MISS (thank God for Tivo) they are:

    ALL Law and Order
    Desperate Housewives (guilty pleasure)
    Brothers and sisters
    Without a Trace
    Real Housewives (all, again guilty pleasure)
    Hell’s Kitchen
    Top Chef
    Big Love
    Deadliest Catch
    a few more…

    I loved Vanished on Fox but then it Vanished before the end of the season and before it solved the case.

    I am currently stuck on Criminal Minds. I am interested in the Southland but haven’t been able to watch it yet.

    I don’t watch much tv because I am not home much but Criminal minds is something that I absolutely have to watch every week.
