ok…so remember a few blogs ago when i told you that I am the most injury prone dude on the planet Earth? well i managed to survive a paintballand fourwheelers…i survived my Memeorial Day weekend float trip thru lightning and thunder on Saturday…then came Sunday!
We sat by the Rivfffer (as my buddy Jon Reep says) and I applied my sunblock, but apparently i did not apply enough of the goey uv blocking goodness because i still ended up with a massive sunburn on my pasty white belly and right shoulder! It wasn’t the worst sunburn i had gotten…umm or so i thought! I applied the soothing blue jelly like stuff that i always have used to soothe the burn and aaaaaaaaah the cooling was so (as a fox says every morning ) goooooooooooooooooooooooood! lets see i did that on Sunday night, Monday morning, afternoon and again before i went to bed. The again after i showered on Tuesday morning. Tuesday night is when it all hit the fan…shower, shave, brush teeth and now apply the blue-gooo! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH $%#^@&#^#$%@!&* It Burns oh my God its burning!!!!!! I can’t stop AHHHHHHHHH #$@%^*!(@#& ! for 5 minutes I try to stop the #%%@*%&*!&*&*! HOLY JAMBOLINIEES $#%@&*!&*! back in the shower with my red-as-a-lobster A$$!!!! taht doesn;t help either %#&@%!&*!!!!! MOMMY!!!! wow this is really not good! I am now in the fetal position on the bathroom floor with a cold towell trying to stop the flames!
and now i am really starting to get a little scared! This was pain like i have never felt before in my life…Kristen grabs a neighbor to stay with the kids so we can get to the ER! she makes a couple of phone calls and her friend Julie and Alice come over to help as we head for help!
and now…because i can…i will Secreast you and I will finish the rest of the story on Monday!
but if i can leave you with one piece of advice for this weekend. “WEAR SUNSCREEN!”
