I think it is great that we as a state have won this money for our hospital. That is just a sign of a poor looser. We manipulated nothing. We simple took the “show me” attitude and boy did we ever show them. Great job Mid Missouri and Y107!!!

Did we win??? The last time I heard we were 85,000 votes ahead and that was around 10 p.m. on Friday night.
I have a poster regarding the contest, that was placed at Columbia Regional Hospital, to give to Cosmo and JC. I work there.
Regional will become Childrens Hospital with the first phase opening in either August or Sept of this year. Thanks, so very much, for the effort to gain the funding!!!

Thank you all so much for participating in this event!! We have been voting like crazy every day! My 9 month old son Keegan has cancer and the University of Missouri Children’s hospital has been WONDERFUL to us and our son. We couldn’t have asked for a better hospital. Your station is awesome!

I am proud to be part of this community and how everyone has ralleyed together for a cause that is so important. It is great to know we are still a community with compassion and selflessness. Greetings from the frozen north! I just saw the totals, and while I am a klh fan, I must applaud you in your efforts to be North America’s Most Caring Radio Station. Dave and Carole here in Wisconsin have done some wonderful work with our Children’s Hospital, and it appears that you all do as well. Once again, Milwaukee and Columbia are prime examples of how kind, caring, and giving the mid west is. Outstanding work!

I think this is awesome that they are trying so hard to earn the $50K for the Children’s Hospital. The date is kind of ironic because my daughter was diagnosed and began treatment for her leukemia 9 years ago on Feb. 1st at University Children’s Hospital. I hope we win because there are lots of children who benefit not just from their medical skills, but also their personal and humanitarian skills to help patients & entire families cope with life changing illnesses. Im so happy were able to do this for the kids! I’ve used facebook to tell everyone about the voting and asked teachers to talk about it in classrooms – also I called yesterday morning to get you guys to come to Rock Bridge and then talked to my principle — I don’t think she didnt anything about it but whatever she’s retiring after four years at our school?!?! so whatever – were still number one && a handfull of voets ahead of the rest! =] I listen to Y107 in the morning as I get ready for class and some of the stories are so touching I cry — which makes me kinda mad cause then i have to redo my make up… but no one deserves this win more. Every kid should have a chance to survive but Y107 is so giving and its time they get some help… Thank you everyone for voting && of course… thank you Children’s Miracle Network.

My kids and I wish you guys the best of luck, no one deserves it more. No one works harder to support our kids like you. University does so much, two of my kids have been patients there and they did their best to make sure my kids were taken care of. Thank you for helping them.
