Florence & The Machine in St Louis

Florence and the Machine played at the Peabody Opera House, in St Louis, Sunday night. Florence captivated the crowd by skipping around stage with a black cape swirling around her. Most of the songs performed were from her latest album, Ceremonials. However, she did play some crowd favorites such as “Shake It Out” and “Dog Days Are Over”.

Demi Lovato gets mobbed on stage

Demi Lovato invited fans to move closer to the stage at her concert last night in Paraguay. However, she did not intend for fans to jump up on stage and grab her.

Initially when the fans moved closer, she shouted, “You guys gotta be safe though.” Seconds later, one woman got on stage and hugged her. Then a bunch of males joined in.

Demi ran off on stage as security cleared the fans off. She came back out and told them they needed to calm down so she could finish the concert.

Hologram Concerts Become the Next Big Thing

Jackson 5 could potentially reunite for another tour, even though the lead singer, Michael, is dead?

The remaining members of Jackson 5, Jermaine, Jackie, Tito, and Marion, will officially be starting a 27-city tour that starts in Louisville. It will be the first tour the band has made since the Victory Tour in 1984.

In an E! Online article, Jackie said, “”I just wish Michael was here with us, but I’m sure his spirit will be in the house.”

This might be possible. Jackie said they are planning on an even bigger tour for next year after their latest album is released in which a hologram of Michael could be incorporated, which would take the tour to the next level.

Holograms have been used in previous concerts such as with Tupac last Sunday at Coachella. His performance with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre was 100 percent original, which means they did not use any video from previous performances.

In 2009, Celine Dion performed “If I Can Dream” with a hologram of Elvis Presley on American Idol. Even though this duo did not receive the same buzz that Tupac’s performance did, holograms have been around and could possibly start becoming more popular.

Holographic concerts now have the ability to create a life after death for musicians. As the 1950s actor, James Deans said, “if a man can bridge the gap between life and death, if he can live on after he’s dead, then maybe he was a great man.”

Who hasn’t watched Sesame Street right?

I think we all grew up on that show in some form or another. I know my Daughter Emma especially grew up on Elmo and Elmo’s World etc. I guess you could say that this blog is brought to you by the letter “Y” and the number “107″ lol ok sorry that was dumb.

Glee is obviously one of the hottest shows on TV and is showing zero signs of slowing down. I admit, I am not a hug “Gleek” but i do check out the shows and have a lot of fun with them.
